Adele is originally an A-Level teacher and was first introduced to Ayurveda by having an Ayurvedic massage. She then attended Ayurvedic consultations and followed a strict Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle for nine months. The positive results spoke for themselves as she experienced a complete transformation in her overall health and well-being. She then couldn't wait to learn how to help others along the same path, and so she decided to train and become a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner as well as a qualified Ayurvedic marma massage therapist.
Adele's passion for Ayurveda stems from her own personal experience. She empathises with the patient and intuitively knows how to move forwards on the path to recovery.
Adele has been fortunate enough to have been taught and nurtured by an authentic, traditional teacher of Ayurveda, Dr Deepika Rodrigo. Her teacher is a highly respected and qualified Ayurvedic doctor (BAMS) from Sri Lanka, also the founding Director of the Ayurveda Institute U.K.
Adele has completed the Ayurvedic Head, Face and Body Massage Diploma in 2012. She has also achieved the Ayurvedic Nutrition and Lifestyle Diploma (ALND) 2015 and has completed Level 2 of the Diploma in Ayurvedic Practitioners Course (DAPC) in 2018. She achieved 'Distinctions' in all of her Diplomas.
As a teacher previously, she has a passion for learning and utilises Ayurveda in her own everyday life. She displays compassion and a willingness to help others attain optimal health.
Having years of experience and knowledge, Adele will help you to reach your health goals. She will also help you to learn and discover new things about yourself that you can take with you and use for the rest of your life.

As part of the Ayurvedic consultation process, the first stage will look at the causative factors of the health problem(s). The patient will then be asked to alter aspects of their diet and lifestyle according to the nature of the imbalance. The second stage will assess the best detoxification and rejuvenation therapies, through the use of Ayurvedic remedies, to remove toxins (ama pachana) and to increase the digestive fire (agni deepana).
This will allow the patient to regain their natural balance, improving both digestion and elimination; aiding the natural detoxification process in the body. Finally, treating the main health problems with appropriate Ayurvedic herbal remedies to help diminish, or even completely eradicate the illness or disease wherever possible.
